AJ’s Family Arcade

Looking for fun for the whole family? AJ’s Family Arcade is home to an arcade, an 18-hole mini golf course and a go-kart track to let your competitive side free. Located at The Gym of Marshall, AJ’s Family Arcade will provide you with unique entertainment at an affordable price.

Boards & Blades Skate Park

Located at Legion Field next to the Marshall Aquatic Center, the Boards & Blades Skatepark features three skate zones designed to accommodate all levels of skaters, bikers, and rollerbladers with 10,000 square feet of skating area. The park is a designated Tier 1 Skatepark, which has features with heights lower than 48 inches. Open from dawn to dusk, grab your helmets and start shredding!

Bandshell Music Series

The Marshall Municipal Band performs outdoor concerts throughout June and July. The performances are easy to find at Liberty Park in the bandshell with bench seating available at the park. Each Wednesday night, starting at 7:00pm, the band will perform a series of songs featuring guest conductors, soloists and more. Don’t miss out on the free concert while enjoying an evening in the park.

Farmer’s Market

Visit the Marshall Farmer’s Market every Saturday 7:30am – noon from July 11th through October! The Marshall Farmer’s Market brings together local farmers and gardeners to give you endless options of fruits, vegetables, flowers, baked goods and more! Located in the parking lot between the Marshall YMCA and Schwan’s, you’ll be sure to find something tasty to enjoy at home.

Fishing

The Marshall area is home to crappie, walleye, bullheads, northern pike, and so many more species of fish to catch. Whether you choose to fish the Redwood River at Camden State Park or West Twin Lake, your fishing experiences will be relaxing and rewarding. Looking to take the kids? Independence Park is a kid-friendly fishing location, where kids ages 12 and under can fish all year round in the center of town.

The world’s largest treasure hunt is even in Marshall and the surrounding areas. For those who love to find treasures, there are 139 geocaches around Marshall for you to discover. Marshall is home to 9 different parks that have playgrounds, sports courts, walking pathways and opportunities to enjoy the fresh air. All parks within city limits close at 10:30pm, so you have all day to enjoy the playground equipment, basketball courts, and walking pathways.

Are you a lake or a pool swimmer? Either way, we’ve got the swimming locations for you to check out! If you want to enjoy a 190-foot waterslide and a splash playground with a three-pool complex, be sure to check out the Marshall Aquatic Center. With heated water in all pools and shaded patio areas, your day at the pool will be fun for the whole family. If you want an adventure with your swim, check out Camden State Park’s Swimming Hole. This spring-fed swimming area is complete with a beach and gives you a taste of nature with your summer fun! If you prefer indoor swimming, check out your hotel amenities to see if they offer an indoor pool. Otherwise, be sure to check out the YMCA and grab a guest pass!
