Calling all craft beer fans! Brau Brothers Brewery is your next favorite stop! Marshall’s own microbrewery has multiple options of craft brewed ales and lagers, made with the finest ingredients. They even have their own soda flavors for visitors who are under 21. Whether you’re craving a simple gateway beer or a flavorful ale, Brau Brothers has you covered. While you enjoy your drinks and food, you can see the brewing process through the window inside the taproom. The brews are done in small batches, which keeps the brew house humming seven days a week.

Between the Redwood River Sportsman’s Club and Shooters Sporting Clays, Marshall has great facilities for target practice. Together, there are 8 trap ranges available, as well as skeet shooting, rifle and pistol ranges. Get ready for bird hunting season and stop by no matter what level your sportsman skills are.
The Pursuit of Excellence is an annual marching band competition that brings over 15 high school marching bands from three different states to Marshall. The competition lasts all evening, where the students bring their best musical talents to compete. This competition is held at the Schwan’s Regional Event Center at SMSU.
Football season is our favorite season, as the community comes together to cheer on the Marshall High School Tigers and the Southwest Minnesota State University Mustangs. With a top-notch football stadium in town, tailgating nearby to prep yourself for the games is a popular pastime. Don’t forget your team gear as you head out to the stadium!
