Join the MN State Cattlemen’s Summer Tour!
Ready for an in-person adventure? Come along with fellow cattle enthusiasts to explore the best of Minnesota’s cattle industry in Lincoln and Lyon counties. It’s a great chance to connect, learn and see things up close in a relaxed, friendly setting. Don’t miss out on this fun summer event where the community comes together to share stories, tips and good times!
6:30 a.m. – Registration/check in and light breakfast
7:30 a.m. – First buses depart
8 a.m. – Remaining buses depart
Buses will return to the fairgrounds for lunch and again around 5:30-6 p.m. for the evening steak supper.
Stops:
ADM/Ralco
Loyson Feedlot – New gable slat barn with pit aeration system.
Triple C Feeders – Bed pack monoslope barns with state of the art working system.
Todd & Amber Meulebroeck – New monoslope slatted barn.
Weber Land & Cattle – Red Angus seedstock farm hosting its own sale and home to renowned painter Michelle Weber.
Delaney Herefords – Hereford seed stock farm and location of the seed stock displays from local breeders.
Vos Cattle – Open yards, hoop barn, cover crops, new loadout, working area. Also has 650 cows running pasture across the road.
Coon Creek – Rotational grazing stop.
