National Wheelchair Basketball Intercollegiate Men’s Tournament

Southwest Minnesota State University is proud to announce the annual National Wheelchair Basketball Intercollegiate Men’s Tournament will be held on the campus of SMSU on March 14-16 with games inside both the R/A Facility and PE Gym.
SMSU last hosted the national tournament in 2018.
“We are excited to host is incredible event. Showcasing the sport of wheelchair basketball is vital to the growth of the sport and there is no better place to do that than here at SMSU,” said Jen Flowers, SMSU Director of Athletics. “We look forward to three tremendous days of competition.”
The 11-team tournament will begin on March 14 with a total of seven games. Seven more games will take place on Friday, March 15, while the fifth-place, third-place and national championship games held on Saturday, March 16.

The University of Alabama won the intercollegiate men’s championship a season ago.
