MARSHALL MN
The NAHL’s Fairbanks Ice Dogs Hockey Team will come back to Marshall, for two games at the Red Baron Arena & Expo on December 3rd & December 4th.

This is a great opportunity for the City of Marshall, The Red Baron Arena & Expo, as well as Marshall Amateur Hockey Association. The state-of-the-art Red Baron Arena & Expo was made for events like this, as we proved that last season while hosting the Ice Dogs from January – March 2021.
“We are so grateful that the Ice Dogs organization is willing to come back and play a weekend series in Marshall. It speaks volumes about our community, volunteers and facility.” said Cassi Weiss; Director of Visit Marshall.
Last year we estimated a $100,000 community impact with visitors attending from games from as far away as Alaska, and from as many as 12 other states, coming to Marshall multiple weekends, staying in our hotels. “The Ice Dogs wanted to give back to our community for us hosting them during such a tough time, but due to COVID protocols they were unable to get into schools or host events. Having them come back at a time with less restrictions gives them the opportunity to give back to the community, and most importantly the youth of Marshall” said Cassi Weiss
Rob Proffitt Ice Dogs GM says “We couldn’t be more Thankful to the entire Marshall community for their support during last season. I knew when we left in March, we had a sister city forever, with that said, we wanted to get back to Marshall this season under normal circumstances and give back to your amazing community with a couple games with full stands at your beautiful Red Baron Arena and create an electric atmosphere and event to say Thank You Marshall!!”
Tickets for the game will be available at a later date, Games are Friday December 3rd 7:30pm & Saturday December 4th 7:30pm vs. the Minnesota Wilderness.
