  • Delux Motel – To save some of your touring and dining money, might we suggest the quaint and economical Delux Motel. Each room features a queen bed, fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, and is comfortably ensconced on Main Street for your convenience.
  • Finally, the Travelers Lodge and EverSpring Inn and Suites are both located on College Drive. The EverSpring is posh, has an on-site restaurant, and has the upscale feel you might be looking for if you prefer, where as the Travelers Lodge is designed for convenience. It is a single floor with external entry, so no fear of walking down hallways at night.

Now that you have your accommodations under control, unless you are choosing to camp of course which is only recommended in the warmer months, let's find you somewhere to have a romantic meal. Marshall has quite a few bistros and sit-down dining establishments perfect for fine dining on your couple’s getaway, but if you prefer to let your hair down and hit the local watering hole, plenty of saloons and bars are scattered through the town.

And Marshall honors the sacrifices and tragedy of that hallowed day with a monument honoring the fallen. A beam from the World Trade Center is immortalized on display for all to view at the 9/11 Memorial, ensuring that day never be forgotten.

The second stop on the walking tour takes you past the historic Atlantic Hotel (no longer a hotel), home of The Atlantic - a rentable event space on the 3rd floor of the brick building. Then on to the third stop, the Gambler. One of the more popular bars, the Gambler is known for quality food and an eclectic atmosphere that is welcoming to anyone.

Perhaps a walking tour is not your style of enjoyable exercise, then perhaps one of the many biking trails is a better fit. Wind through nature on man-made and natural trails that will give you a glimpse into the beauty of Southern Minnesota. Or, maybe you are an appreciation of antiques.
