For a second straight year, Visit Marshall will be hosting Prairie Jam! The concert will take place on Thursday, September 21st, 2023, at the Schwan’s Regional Event Center on the Campus of Southwest Minnesota State University.
Headlining is the multi-platinum Eli Young Band with Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson bringing their trailblazing sound for their first ever concert in Marshall!
This “band of brothers” has always been unique in modern Country music with four No. 1 hits: 3X Platinum “Crazy Girl,” 2X Platinum “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and Platinum “Love Ain’t” and “Drunk Last Night.” The band’s latest album, Love Talking, was released last year.
Mike Eli of EYB shared: “We are thrilled to headline Prairie Jam, and to celebrate Marshall and It's only fitting that the band, formed by friends on a college campus at the University of North Texas takes the stage at SMSU. Our new music is full of energy and full of life and what better place to be than on a college campus honoring our roots.”
The opening act will be the ferocious newcomer Royale Lynn, the viral country singer who has single handedly acquired millions of views across several social media platforms.
In Prairie Jam’s inaugural year Visit Marshall hosted Tyler Farr and Whiskey Rich selling thousands of tickets. Ticket prices start at $25 and will be available on Thursday, April 20th.
