Fall at Camden State Park
Weekends in the fall are for impromptu photoshoots in the colorful leaves. One of our favorite spots to check out the fall colors of yellows, oranges, reds and purples is at Camden State Park. Amongst the hiking and biking trails and all around the park are trees that create the perfect backdrop for your Instagram adventures. Bring along friends, family and dogs to capture the moments of fall in the beauty of what Mother Nature provides us.
Water & Wildlife
While it may be too chilly for swimming, the water from the rivers, ponds and lakes around the park create an environment of relaxation, where you can spend an afternoon reading, meditating or bird watching. The nature and wildlife throughout Camden State Park is one that will truly take your breath away. Who knows? Maybe if you venture a little out of your comfort zone, you’ll discover somewhere new to keep to yourself for a private getaway.
Kids Activities at Camden State Park
If you are bringing along the kids, check out the playground equipment to release their energy or create a game for them in the open grass space. Bring a football to toss around, go on a scavenger hunt for leaves, go geocaching, or go jumping in leaf piles. Cooler weather is still a great time for fishing at Camden State Park. Drop at one of the fishing spots throughout the park. Skip rocks and watch the fish jump!
Whether you decide to chalk outlines for hopscotch or bring along some kites to catch the wind – you’ll have a day full of laughs and fun.
