SMSU Theatre’s spring production is SHOUT! The Mod Musical, created by Phillip George and David Lowenstein. Performances are April 10 through April 13 at 7:30 pm and April 12 and 13 at 2 pm in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre. Tickets are $10 and will be available only at the door. Seating is first-come, first-served. Admission is free for SMSU employees and students with valid ID. Free and convenient parking is available in lot B-1.

With its irresistible blend of pop music hits, colorful fashions, and swinging dance moves, SHOUT! follows five groovy gals coming of age in England from 1960 to 1970, as they redefine themselves in the face of changing attitudes about gender. In this energetic revue, classic pop tunes including “Downtown,” “Son of a Preacher Man,” and “Goldfinger” are tied together by hilarious sound bites from the period – from ‘60s magazine ads to letters answered by an advice columnist.
