Learn how to needle felt from a local expert!

Suzanne Fairchild will share the story of wool, from sheep to shearing to preparing the wool, then showing attendees how to felt the wool into a figure. The wool she brings is from her own sheep. Attendees will get an idea of the history of the craft, learning more about the wool industry, understanding of the structure of wool and what products different grades of wool can make, and of course, learning how to needle felt!

This class is free, but space is limited and registration is required. Due to the sharp instruments required, you must be at least 16 to attend. Please contact the Marshall Library (507-537-7003, library@marshalllyonlibrary.org) to register.
