This event is free will donation and open to the public. \n5:30 PM: Light Refreshments\n6:00 PM: Business Meeting (2023 Annual Report)\n6:30 PM: Program: “The 1980s Farm Crisis in West Central Minnesota” by Jim Roe\nAbout the Presenter: Jim Roe has worked as a museum planner for most of his career. But when he gets the chance\, he returns to his roots in Minnesota history. After completing a master’s degree in American Studies at the University of Minnesota\, he joined the Minnesota Historical Society\, where his work included researching\, exhibit development\, and several summers as a historic site interpreter. Later\, he worked at the Science Museum of Minnesota and Minnesota Children’s Museum before starting a consulting business in 2002.
