DESCRIPTION:Join us on January 17th on the Lockwood Motors Rink at the Red Baron Arena & Expo for Learn-to-Curl!\n Open to all ages\n FREE – Registration required at https://marshall.cr3.rschooltoday.com/…/class_id/4062\n Tyler George will be on-ice teaching the basics and strategies of competetive curling.\nTyler George Curling Event Flyer\nWho is Tyler George\nTyler George is a retired curler that lives in Duluth\, MN. He was part of the 2018 USA men’s Olympic team in PyeongChang\, South Korea that won the first ever gold medal for the USA for any discipline of curling. Tyler also won bronze at the 2016 World Men’s Championships and bronze at the 2001 World Junior Men’s Championships\, as well as three USA Men’s National Championships (2010\, 2015\, and 2017). His USA men’s teams have been a part of two Continental Cup winning squads\, in 2016 and 2018. Since retiring from competitive curling following the 2018 Olympics\, Tyler has worked as an ambassador traveling the USA\, working events in tandem with the WCF\, and now serves on the WCF Athlete Commission after being elected in 2022. Tyler was hired by NBC as a commentator and analyst for the 2022 Beijing Olympic Games and is continuing in that role with WCTV.

This will be at St. Stephen’s church in fellowship hall. 1301 S 4th st in Marshall. \nPut on your thinking caps and sharpen your pencils its trivia night! Round one worksheet starts at 630 pm. Live rounds start at 700 pm. Prizes will be awarded! \nsince this is a fundraiser the youth group is asking for a $20 per team donation but is not required. They will also have food and beverages for sale. \n***FUNDRAISER EXCLUSIVE***\nMulligans will also be available to turn a wrong answer into a correct one. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a two-day marriage conference here at Living Word! \nFeaturing Mark Mitchell (MA LMHC) and his wife Jen\, this Christ-centered conference is designed to refresh and reengage your marriage! Mark and Jen will take couples through their program\, “2 Becoming 1”\, diving into the idea of oneness in marriage. \nWe will start things off on Friday\, February 2\, from 6-8 PM\, and will continue at 9 AM – 5PM on Saturday\, February 3\, to discuss many wonderful topics and have breakout sessions with your spouse and other couples. Married couples – we hope you can join us to invest in the (2nd) most important relationship you have! \nPlease sign up in Church Center no later than Sunday\, January 28. Cost will be $25 per couple and will include all food (heavy snacks on Friday\, as well as meals\, snacks\, and refreshments throughout the day on Saturday).
