SUMMARY:Tea & Titles
DESCRIPTION:This event is sponsored by Marshall Pride. Find them on the web at marshallpride.org or on Facebook at facebook.com/marshallmnpride. \nSo many events directed toward the LGBTQ+ Community are loud and boisterous\, which can be amazing for some folks\, but sometimes we want something a little more laid back. Bring a book you like (or find one at the Marshall-Lyon County Library)\, grab a mug\, and enjoy some lovely parallel play time. No library card\, no problem! The folks at the front desk can help you out. \nThe library is open\, and the tea is hot! Stop by! \nThis event is a part of Marshall Pride’s second Tuesday of the month events. Each second Tuesday\, we have some event to bring together member members of the LGBTQ+ Community and allies. Stop by to make some friends and finish a couple of chapters. Audiobooks welcome!

SUMMARY:Untitled: A Concert of the Obvious
DESCRIPTION:The history of western music is filled with music with unimaginative titles. Pieces like “Symphony No. 1” or “Divertimento” tell the reader very little about the music other than it’s form or genre. However\, many of these are among the most beautiful pieces ever created. Join the SMSU/Community Concert Band for an evening of music with titles that say very little\, but with music that is incredibly emotive and powerful. The program includes works by George Walker\, Daisuke Ehara\, Victoriano Valencia\, and many others. The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. in the SMSU Fine Arts Theatre and is free and open to the public.
