Child Care 101: Informational Meeting

Interested in starting a child care business?

The City of Marshall Strategic Supply Planning Committee, in collaboration with the Southwest Minnesota Opportunity Council, County Licensor, First Children’s Finance and the Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the first “Child Care 101 Informational Meeting. The event will be held on Monday, February 10th from 11:45 AM-1:15 PM at Southwest Minnesota State University: SC 249 and from 6:00-7:30 at the Marshall Lyon County Library.

This free event is open to the public, and attendees will have the chance to learn more about how to become a licensed family child care provider. Guest speakers will be available with personal stories of their child care journey. Participants will receive valuable information on the licensing process and the available resources and support for providers. It’s a great opportunity for folks interested in starting a child care business to learn about the process and connect with resources that can help them. Walk-ins welcome!
